Admissible Criteria: To eligible, the aspirants must meet all the following:
The student must be a UND, full-time, any degree-seeking, an international student taking courses on the Grand Forks campus o Exchange student status does not meet this requirement
The student must be in valid F-1 status with the Department of Homeland Security by the start of the academic term in which The grant is to be awarded
The student must be in good financial standing at UND
To qualify, students must fall under one of the below categories:
Canadian students of Finnish ancestry
Finnish students of Finnish ancestry
Bahamian students
Students should exhibit traits in the following:
Strong work ethic
Sound moral character
Proven record of academic achievement
Potential for leadership in career achievement
